I am a Non-Executive Director, Board Member, Managing Director and CEO with 5+ years of board level experience and particular expertise in the FMCG and Consulting sectors.
At board level what I do is drive business growth, and limit the associated risk. I do that by drawing on my experience pioneering new marketing programs, products, and business structures; ensuring the company is focused on consumer needs, building highly performing teams; leading international business development, brand building, and applying blue-chip management practices.
Board level highlights include: Non Executive Director at Mài Bǎo, Member of Advisory Board at Hogan's Cider, Member of Advisory Board at Glory Edward Nutrition, and Board Member of United Biscuits China.
In an executive capacity, I am the Founder & CEO of Marrostera Ltd. Here, I advise clients on entering new markets and international growth strategies. Previously, I held multiple senior roles at United Biscuits (UB). As the Managing Director, South Asia, I developed a profitable growth strategy in India, after 7 years of losses, while as the Managing Director China, I developed and implemented the strategy for McVitie’s entry in China, achieving £9.4M revenue in 4 years. I have also led the transformation of UB’s international business, from a £54M tactical sales department into a £250M strategic growth engine.
Earlier, as European Marketing Director, Friskies Cat & Dog Food at Nestlé, I reversed a business decline and achieved three years of consecutive growth, surpassing CHF 1 Billion in sales.
Finally, I hold an MBA from the American Graduate School of International Management.
