I founded B.O.A.R.D.S., a privately held governance, strategy and risk advisory firm in 2013. I am an experienced non executive commercial director chairing audit and compliance/risk committees and serving on nominating/governance committees. Through my 25 year career at TIAA, a Fortune 100 company as a portfolio manager, risk leader and chef of staff for asset management I developed analytical, problem solving (including cyber issues), leading collaboration efforts providing thoughtful, balanced, constructive arguments that need to be made. I’ve analyzed and invested in most business sectors, led projects across departments, business lines and companies and currently serve as an industry thought leader in governance matters recognized by Directors & Boards magazine and the National Association of Corporate Directors. I enjoy helping an organization navigate leadership, strategic and risk challenges.
