A Chartered Environmentalist and Fellow of the Institute of Sustainability and Environmental Professionals focusing on Board and executive-level sustainability leadership. With over 25 years of experience across airports, airlines and aerospace, Carrie specialises in driving high-stakes, large-scale environmental commitments, sector-wide innovations and ambitious change programmes.
Non-executive experience includes Aerospace Technology Institute where she chairs the Audit & Risk Committee. Current advisory roles include Chair of the UK Government’s Jet Zero Taskforce Greenhouse Gas Removals group and expert advisor to The Earthshot Prize and her current executive position is Director of Sustainability at British Airways.
Carrie is an established sustainability thought-leader with an extensive global network of contacts and a legacy of high impact outcomes delivered throughout her career. Mission-driven with a deep passion for nature and decarbonisation, Carrie is a strong advocate for business as a force for good. She is highly effective at engaging stakeholders in ambitious change and adept at guiding organisations to face future challenges and opportunities. She is a natural and engaging communicator with extensive public speaking and media experience including live broadcast.
Now looking for an additional Board position to leverage this expertise to support an organisation that is serious about transforming or accelerating their ESG performance.
