I am a professional Interim operating at CEO/MD level with experience across a wide range of sectors and industries. Usually parachuted into a company to address issues or to drive growth; my ability to understand the business and the team is critical as is the confidence to ask the difficult questions across all areas of the business including strategy, governance and fiduciary.
My board experience includes working with a range of stakeholders including founder/owners, VC and PE investors and business angels and I have an in-depth understanding of the needs and demands of these different parties. An understanding that has proven to be highly beneficial in previous roles.
I have a solid sales and marketing background with experience of leading sales teams predominantly in the technology and software sectors selling in to Blue chip, Finance, Banking and Retail sectors. In addition I have an in-depth understanding indirect and direct sales channels and the optimum use of each.
In summary, my broad sector background, my extensive business development experience and my ability to ask informed challenging questions across the entire organisation makes me an excellent and highly productive member of a board.
