I am Chief Executive of One Dance UK, a not-for-profit organisation formed from the merger of four existing organisations. At board level I have experience in a range of non-executive roles since 2002 in pension and investment administration, change management and governance, as both a company director and charity trustee in for-profit, and cultural not-for-profit organisations, at a range levels from observer to Vice-Chair, Interim Chair and Chairman. In an executive capacity I have over 10 years’ experience of Senior Management roles in organisations of varying sizes, all of whom have faced significant financial challenges and periods of change. Most of this work has been with UK cultural organisations all of whom have an international dimension to their work which has allowed me to build extensive international experience and networks. I am known for being reliable, calm, good with detail and able to initiate and implement change. My creative background means I enjoy problem-solving and make use of this through consultancy work with a range of companies looking at organisational development and international strategy. I am energised by change and comfortable with risk and experienced at supporting others’ professional development through the use of coaching and psychometrics.
