Chief Risk Officer
I have had a 35 year career in commercial and investment banking, working mainly in Risk Management. I have held a number of senior positions during this time working for a number of different international institutions including those from: the UK, North America, Continental Europe and Japan.
Although I have not yet been appointed to a Board I have worked closely with both the main Boards of publicly quoted companies and Boards of group subsidiaries in the capacity of either Chief Risk Officer (CRO) or Senior Credit Risk Officer. For example in my last role, as CRO for a European subsidiary of a Japanese bank, I worked closely with the INED who was responsible for the entity's Board Risk Committee. Additionally I have a great deal of experience in Corporate Governance matters, having worked closely with various Boards in ensuring that various governance matters comply with ongoing regulation.
I am a British national who has also lived and worked in the USA and the Netherlands.
