I am a Non-Executive Director, President and CEO, and turnaround specialist, recognised globally with over two decades board level experience with particular experience in the Healthcare, Financial Services, Telecommunications, E-Commerce/IT, Oil and Gas and Higher Education industries.
At board level, what I do is create sustainable and profitable business models. I do that by combining broad expertise across a range of complex market landscapes and industries with a world-class record in transforming culture, operations and strategic direction to drive exponential growth across the international arena.
I am currently Managing Director of Avangarde Consulting. Here I provide change and transformation advice and support and deliver training programmes. In this role and across my career I have provided challenge with independent oversight and ratified strategic and economic thinking to hold executive leadership to account, elevate performance, ensure market excellence, and maximise revenue generation. I can evidence a history of substantial achievements in facilitating diversification, quality improvement, operational efficiency and productivity, utilising innovative approaches to consistently deliver operational goals in the face of challenges.
I have been a Magistrate (JP) and I am a Trustee of a local community based charity.
Finally, I am currently studying for the FT Non-Executive Director Diploma. I have a Ph.D in Strategy Management, a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) and a B.A. in Economics. I am an Author, Speaker and Paper Reviewer at the Academy of Management, Strategic Management Society, Global Business and Economics Society and Pacific Telecommunications Council.
